Always look for customer reviews. Be sure your estimate includes everything you’ve discussed with the estimator. Don’t use anyone who asks for money up front. Finally, be sure that your contractor is fully insured with both General Liability and Worker’s Compensation insurance.
We make sure to cover and protect your furniture, flooring, and belongings with the proper drop cloths before and during the prep and painting. All we ask is that you remove any small items (ash trays, figurines, flower vases, etc.). Of course, you should take down your pictures and window treatments in advance. When we’re done we replace your furniture to its original location.
Our crew works around your schedule.
We love to hear of any specifications you might have regarding our work so feel free to be as specific as you desire! It is a priority that you and your home are respected to the fullest degree so we follow any measures to ensure that. We will first prepare the space by protecting your large furnishings and safely putting them in a proper place where they can be covered and out of the way. If we are working on the exterior we will make sure to cover landscaping with proper cloths or plastic to make sure nothing gets damaged. We then cover floors, windows, lighting fixtures or any other parts of the home that are not intended to be painted. If we are only doing part of the home we make sure to tape it off so that dust or paint does not disturb the other rooms while we are working. Next we prepare the surfaces by cleaning surfaces, filling holes, fixing cracks, and sanding. If we are working on your exterior we may be replacing rotten wood. Next we paint using appropriate primer if needed and follow with your topcoat. At the end of each working day we make sure to clean up and keep your place neat and tidy. At the end of the job everything is put back in its proper place.
